I wanted to share some of the very good websites I found regarding the Copenhagen talks coming up. These sites are great places for people to make their voice heard (especially hopenhagen) while also being able to acquire important pieces of information regarding the progress so far and leading up to the Conferences in December.
I also linked an article from the “Seal the Deal” website regarding a very interesting diplmatic offensive taken by a certain South American country earlier last week. In light of the climate change talks being only one month away, Ecuador decided to hault the mining of up to $6 million US dollars worth of crude oil which lies buried under a local rainforest. Looking to receive international compensation from the more developed countries and NGO’s, Ecuador has decided to leave this oil underground as a statement against global warming as well as to prevent damage to its local tropical rainforest regions.
Below are some more websites and videos that relate:
- Cop 15 article on Ecadors plan to leave the oil underground
- 100 Places, Before they Disappear – outstanding photos available

I like videos, A LOT so I have linked some more great videos for you to enjoy and comment on. Reading peoples comments is also very beneficial.
Because climate change stands next to poverty, ideology and nuclear proliferation as arguably the top four threats facing our globe today I thought I may include some humor into our rather, many times depressing conversations with this next one…
Sarah Silverman’s poverty proposal
Last but not least, my friend Bill.
